What I am grateful now...
This Sunday I had the opportunity to attend our Stake Conference...it was very spiritually uplifting meeting. And we were given a challenge to reread the Book of Mormon and complete it by our next Stake Conference November 23. 3 pages a day is the goal. Then we can keep track of what scriptures jump out at us and why they do. I am currently doing that with a scripture journal, but this time I will have to pick verses and not just the chapter, or both. This time we need to pay attention to feasting, pondering, and allowing the spirit to touch us with insight. I am thankful for a wonderful priesthood holder that leads us in our Stake. And I am thankful for the gospel in my life, and that we have an inspired Prophet, seer and revelator at the head of our church. I am thankful for Jesus Christ, and our Father in Heaven. And I am thankful for my hubby, and family too! I hope my family, friends and neighbors will join us in the challenge. Love, Velma

little things
Its the little things in life like
having your 2 month old always snuggle right up next to you
hugs from your 2 year old
kisses from your 2 year old
hearing the simple phrase I love you from loved ones
a smile and squeal from your baby
knowing your child trusts you completely
when your kid wants to play with you and asks please
seeing the love your spouse has for you
seeing a family member after not seeing them in a long time
your moms/dads voice on the phone
knowing you have friends you can talk to and understand what you are going through
your daughter wanting you and only you to tuck her in at night
knowing someone is there when you pray
understanding there is more to life then this life
being able to say I believe in God and Jesus Christ
that help me realize how truly blessed and loved I am in my life

Jessica
I am thankful for Jessica Stell, my beautiful wife. She is amazing. she handles almost all of the family finances. she has had to deal with AT&T trying to steal money out of our account and the resulting overdraft charges. she is so good. She is so smart, just ask Jackie. Jess teaches her so much and now she is smart. Jess makes my life so much better. I love her with all my heart. There is no one else I'd rather spend eternity with.

I am thankful for my family!
I have such wonderful people in my life. I am so thankful that God created families. From my Grandpa Epperson, who is in his 90's, to my deal little granddaughter, Abigail, who is not quite two months old, I love them all! My sweet husband, parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, children, and grandchildren make my life rich and full. When I think of love, I think of my family!

sometimes we need to remember
when times get hard we are told to remember our blessings and what we are thankful for. I think that we should do that at all times. We should always remember what we are thankful for so we can use this in times of need. I created this blog so i can write as often as possible what I am thankful for! I would love for you to join me and this blog and write what you are thankful for! let me know if you want to join me and i will invite you to write on this blog this way we can all remember and realize what we have to be thankful for in this life!
I would life to start today with 5 things I am thankful for
